How do I know what size truck I will need?

Semi-trailer size  (22 Pallets)

1 x 13.5m long x 2.5m wide and up to 3m high (22 pallet spaces)

For General, Express and Hot Shot services

No single item can exceed the below dimensions:

• 5m long x 2.5m wide x 3.2m high, or
• 5m long x 2.5m wide x 2.8m high
• Cannot exceed 24 tonne or 4.5 tonne per square meter

For Over-Dimensional service pricing

No single item can exceed the below dimensions:

• 5m long x 3.5m wide x 3.5m high, or
• 5m long x 3.5m wide x 3.1m high
• Cannot exceed 24 tonne or 4.5 tonne per square meter

Should your consolidated freight not fit within the trailer size outlined above then you will need to book a bigger vehicle. The next size up is a B-Double

B-Double trailer size (34 pallet spaces)

1 x “A” Trailer – 7.5m long x 2.5m wide and up to 2.8m high (12 pallet spaces)

&

1 x “B” Trailer – 13.5m long x 2.5m wide and up to 3.2m high (22 pallet spaces)

For General, Express and Hot Shot services

No single item can exceed the below dimensions:

• 5m long x 2.5m wide x 3.2m high, or
• 5m long x 2.5m wide x 2.8m high
• Cannot exceed 24 tonne or 4.5 tonne per square meter

Should your consolidated freight not fit within the trailer size(s) outlined above then you will need to book a bigger vehicle. The next size up is a road train.

Road Train trailer sizes (44 pallet spaces)

2 x 13.5m long x 2.5m wide and up to 3m high (22 pallet spaces each)

For General, Express and Hot Shot services

No single item can exceed the below dimensions:

• 5m long x 2.5m wide x 3.2m high, or
• 5m long x 2.5m wide x 2.8m high
• Cannot exceed 24 tonne or 4.5 tonne per square meter

Should your consolidated freight not fit within the trailer size(s) outlined above then you will need to book a bigger vehicle. The next size up is either a B-Triple or a Triple road train.
